Independent Designers Emporium
I’ve begun selling my portraits through a new Australian website, Independent Designers Emporium. This curated collection of designers and artists have been picked for their range of beautiful products, and well worth a gander. A link to my shop is here and I’ve got a couple of images on their homepage – currently my portraits on this store are cheaper than other places I sell online so worth checking out if you are after a custom portrait at a bargain price (in my opinion :))!
Portraits
A Love Story
Valentines isn’t for everyone (and not really for my boy and I either) but I thought it was a great time to share a lovely project I’ve worked on this past week.
Judith and Ron are celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary soon, and to celebrate I worked with Judith on a portrait of them from the past and the present. They “still have a great fun time together” and you could see their long, strong love in their photos.
Custom Portrait for a Mum :)
Another custom portrait, for an absolutely lovely lady and her mum in the Netherlands.
Portrait in Action
I’ve been cranking out the custom portraits this year, and had fun drawing this portrait of graphic designer also known by Jess for her blog Ra Ra Do. (See below – the little picture on the right!). Jess shares beautiful images, inspiration and other such lovely things on her website. Check it!
Custom Portraits
I’ve been loving doing quite a flurry of custom portraits, such a pleasure to be able to contribute to special moments and family love.
Oh Hello!
I recently was featured in a collection of custom portrait artists on the cute blog Oh Hello, Friend! Great to see what others are doing, some very sweet work….
Happy Anniversary!
Some dear pals celebrated their first recently and got me to a do a watercolour of their kiss as hubby and wifey…. Paper is the first “medium” for wedding anniversaries (I’m up to leather!?).
In an amazing feat, the brides dad created this beautiful heart sculpture with WA wildflowers, that travelled all the way to the UK. It was very special to draw these happy friends. True love indeed! xx
