It has been a crazy, productive, life-changing year so far… and finally I’ve managed to take a few days off work, stop and smell the roses (and smokey wood fired air) in Daylesford. A few pictures from the trip with some lovely ladies… enjoying a break together with only 13 weeks til bambino arrives.
Meanwhile these last few days have been spent catching up on art, decaf coffees(!), visiting inspirational people, enjoy naps and bunkering down in this chilly weather. Sweet, sweet simplicity.

But busy, oh so busy.
Creating art every night, working 9 til 5 every day, and preparing for the Frankfurt Book Fair. Everything is coming to a pointy end by then – projects due (painted skateboards, magazine illustrations, preparing applications, designs for friends wedding invitations and businesses etc etc)… Not much time for friends + activity – but good to have it all going on all the same. I’ll sleep well on the plane.
WOWOWOWWWw I just got back from 3 lovely days in Hobart… Small city of fresh air, fine art, good coffee, cheap delicious food and… MONA! Which blew my brain. How exciting that there are people in the world willing to invest their millions into a vision like the Museum of Old and New Art – so much inspiration, it felt like a celebration of life and art and humanity. These words won’t capture it, and neither will a few photos from my phone, but check out some better coverage here and here.
I just returned today from Italy… and I am jetlagged, so jetlagged I took the wrong luggage home and gave a poor Finnish tourist a bad start to their journey.
However, Italy and Bologna were simply amazing! The food, the town, and the busiest week of my life at the fair. Back to back meetings, followed by dinners and work work work – it went by in a sleepless blur, but I was so lucky to be there. Here are a few schnaps from the amazing week!
