It’s so so so exciting to wake up with a wintery cold Melbourne day after weeks of heat, wilted garden and sweaty nights.
Being from Perth, I never thought I’d become such a cold loving gal… But I am. Oh yes, Autumn I love you.

After a long hiatus, I’m back on Etsy having fun with this little Gelli printer and illustrations. I feel like I need a lot more work to make the Etsy space sellable… tagging and promoting and the like, but for the moment it’s an easy way to share my latest bits and bobs – I seem to be making a lot at the moment, go new year’s inspiration go!
I got this fun little NEW contraption by Gelli Arts – basically a little monoprint gelatine screen that you can layer up paint etc. It’s fun! And good to get the post xmas creative playing going… Here is an instagram of my illustration/print/play with new gizmo for this week…
I’m usually a watercolour and pencil sort of kid, but lately I’ve been having fun with digital drawings for my Zazzle shop.
I’ve been waiting for our little daughter bean to laugh… She smiles a-plenty, but we haven’t had a decent laugh yet, just lots of short chuckles, despite dancing/singing/toys/being silly as much as we can…
Today we went to the dog park, and after sitting her on my lap to check out the many dogs around the place she LOST it. She laughed non stop for 2 minutes. Clearly, we aren’t as comical as the local pooches. Well, I guess they are kind of funny…
I’ve been busy loading drawings to Zazzle – an American website which allows you to create your own shirts, mugs, stationery etc for cheap and sell it or make lovely lovely pressies. Unfortunately shipping to Australia is quite expensive, but in the meantime I’m plugging away on creating a range of kid friendly stuff for sale (or perhaps for one big shipment for my daughter next year!).
Illustrators Australia are holding their annual 9 x 5 exhibition in Melbourne. Works are available online if you can’t make the show! (Like me sadly). Here is my work – “Carnivowl”.
